Your photographs and descriptions remain yours. By listing them you give us permission to show them in the apps and to promote your work — nothing more. Delete a listing, or your account, and we stop using them.
Our fair-trade promise
Four commitments, in plain terms.
- Every seller on this marketplace is a verified artisan.
- We do not mark up their prices — the price you see is the price they set.
- Sellers are paid within seven days of a delivered order.
- Products are reviewed before they are listed, and a seller whose listings mislead buyers is removed.

Who we are, and what we are not
Dada Udyogini is a marketplace. The artisan is the seller; we are the platform that connects you to them and handles the payment. The contract of sale is between you and the artisan.
We are responsible for running the platform fairly:
- Verifying sellers
- Reviewing listings
- Holding and releasing payment
- Standing behind the returns policy below
Using the apps
- You must be 18 or older to buy or sell here.
- Your account is yours. Do not share your sign-in code with anyone — we will never ask you for it.
- One account per person. Accounts created to manipulate ratings, prices, or promotions are removed.
- Do not use the apps to sell anything unlawful, counterfeit, or that you did not make or source honestly.
BuyerOrders, payment, and returns
- Prices
- The price shown is what the artisan set, in Indian rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes. Any delivery charge is shown separately before you pay.
- Payment
- Taken at checkout through our payment gateway. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank credentials.
- Cancellation
- You may cancel an order any time before the artisan marks it as shipped, and you are refunded in full.
- Returns
- Raise a return in the app within 7 days of delivery if the item arrives damaged, is not what was listed, or is not what you ordered. Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method.
- Handmade variation
- These goods are made by hand. Small differences in colour, grain, and weave between the photograph and the item you receive are the nature of the craft, not a defect — we ask you to expect them.
SellerListing and being paid
- Verification
- Before you can sell, we verify your identity as Indian law requires of a marketplace. See how that document is handled.
- Your listings
- Photographs must be of the actual item you are selling. Descriptions, materials, and dimensions must be accurate. See the Seller Guidelines.
- Your price
- You set it. We do not mark it up, and we do not discount your work without asking you.
- Payout
- Within seven days of an order being delivered, to the bank account or UPI ID on your profile.
- Removal
- Listings that mislead buyers are taken down. A seller who does it repeatedly is removed from the marketplace.
Changes to these terms
If we change them we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. Your acceptance is recorded against the version you were actually shown.
