Seller Guidelines

What gets a listing approved, and what gets it rejected

The one rule

The buyer should receive exactly what they thought they were buying. Every rule below is that rule, applied.

Photographs

Descriptions

MaterialsSay what it is actually made of. "Cotton" and "cotton blend" are not the same listing.
SizeReal measurements, in centimetres or inches. A buyer cannot pick it up to judge.
Made bySay who made it and where. This is the reason a buyer chose this marketplace.
CareHow it should be washed, oiled, or stored, if it matters.
VariationIf each piece differs — and handmade pieces do — say so plainly.

Pricing

You set your own price and we do not mark it up. Price the work honestly: what the materials cost you, and what your time is worth. Do not inflate a price in order to show a discount against it.

Orders

What gets a listing rejected

Repeat offences. A listing that misleads is taken down. A seller who does it repeatedly is removed from the marketplace and any pending payout is held pending review.
Not sure whether a listing will pass? Ask before you post it.
